Hot forging is the right solution for this type of problem: steel is heated above the recrystallization temperature and forged in one step in a die, resulting in complete metal flow lines and dense internal structure, resisting impact and fatigue. We make Hot forged fasteners, specifically taking on these large-size, high-strength jobs that cold heading cannot do and standard parts cannot supply.

 

Our factory has 2 forging lines, capable of producing forgings from several hundred kilograms to several tons. Both open-die and closed-die forging are available. Commonly used materials include high-strength alloy steels such as 42CrMo, 40Cr, and 35CrMo; stainless steel can also be used. After forging, normalizing, annealing, or quenching and tempering are performed per material, followed by CNC milling, drilling, and tapping on machining centers. Key dimensional tolerances are within ±0.05mm, and threads are roll-formed to reduce stress concentration. Hot forged fasteners are mainly used in wind turbine towers, large equipment bases, bridge steel structures, and mining machinery-places with extremely high strength and reliability requirements. Every batch of forgings undergoes mechanical property testing, and material reports and flaw detection reports can be provided. Workshop with 100+ precision CNC machines (lathes, machining centers, turn-mill composites, grinders) plus 2 forging lines (open-die and closed-die), capable of forgings from several hundred kg to several tons. From blank forging, heat treatment to machining and surface treatment, all in-house. Delivery and quality self-controlled, no reliance on subcontractors. Monthly capacity 10,000–150,000 pieces depending on complexity; rush orders accommodated with overtime.

 

Customization Capability

 

OEM/ODM supported. Drawings and samples both accepted, no strict MOQ. Large sizes, special head shapes, non-standard threads, special materials all accepted. Process route determined per your drawings. Custom samples typically 15–20 working days, shorter for simple processes, 10–20 working days longer for complex ones. Small sample fee charged, fully deductible against bulk orders. Sample first to confirm dimensions and performance, then scale up.

 

Quality Control

 

Operating under IATF 16949: incoming material inspection, in-process patrol inspection, and 100% final inspection before shipment-every process monitored. Forgings undergo mechanical property testing (tensile, yield, impact) and non-destructive testing (ultrasonic or magnetic particle). Key dimensions fully inspected on CMM, threads checked with go/no-go gauges. Issues traceable to specific process and batch. Third-party inspection accepted, reports accompany goods.
