Compared to cutting, forging preserves complete metal flow lines with higher strength, resisting impact and fatigue. For Custom forged fasteners, we mainly produce high-strength parts from grade 8.8 to 12.9, using steels such as 40Cr, 35CrMo, and 42CrMo, conforming to ISO 898-1. Threads are roll-formed to reduce stress concentration. Special head shapes, irregular shanks, and non-standard threads can all be made. For outdoor and water/mud environments, Dacromet, hot-dip galvanizing, sherardizing, or stainless steel can be used-salt spray testing for hundreds of hours is not an issue. Moreover, Dacromet has no hydrogen embrittlement risk, which is especially important for high-strength parts. Custom forged fasteners are used in garden machinery, construction machinery, and wind turbine towers-places with high reliability and corrosion resistance requirements. Our factory has forging lines; cold heading, hot forging, machining, heat treatment, and surface treatment are all in-house, under IATF 16949.
