Product Description
The tapered shaft connecting flange is a category of part we are quite good at and confident in. Unlike ordinary flat-key flanges, it grips the shaft through taper interference fit rather than transmitting force through a keyway. The benefits are straightforward: high torque transmission, good alignment, and assembly/disassembly without damaging the shaft. The surface is ground to within Ra0.4μm and then super-finished to ensure uniform contact with the shaft. The material is 42CrMo, quenched and tempered; the inner taper surface can be nitrided to hardness above HV700, resisting fretting wear even with frequent assembly and disassembly. Customization Capability
Taper, shaft diameter, and length can be customized per drawing. Hydraulic oil injection/pressure relief channels and keyway anti-rotation structures can be machined. Drawings and samples both accepted, no strict MOQ. Custom samples take 15–20 working days, appropriately longer for complex processes. A small sample fee is charged, fully deductible against bulk orders.
Quality Control
Taper surface contact rate is checked piece by piece with blueing. Dynamic balance is tested per G2.5 and above standards. Key dimensions are rechecked on a CMM. Operating under IATF 16949: from incoming material inspection to 100% final inspection before shipment, third-party inspection is accepted.
Packaging & Shipping
Parts are sleeved in PE mesh bags and placed in plywood wooden boxes with VCI vapor-phase rust inhibitor strips. Shipping marks, product name, quantity, and other customs clearance information are labeled externally. All packaging is export-reinforced. For transit damage, the customer provides photos/videos within 3 working days; we verify immediately. If it is our responsibility, free replacement or partial refund; for logistics causes, we fully assist in claims.
