Product Description

 

In a planetary reducer, the planetary carrier is the core structural component-it supports multiple planet gears, allowing them to both rotate on their own axes and revolve, while transmitting power output. The precision of the planetary carrier directly determines the noise, efficiency, and lifespan of the entire reducer: inaccurate planet pin hole position causes eccentric loading and noise on planet gears; insufficient concentricity causes output runout and vibration. We make Precision machined planetary carriers to achieve micron-level precision for this reducer backbone, making the entire gear train rotate smoothly and quietly.

 

We use 42CrMo, 40Cr forged steel, or QT600-3 ductile iron as the base material. Forgings or castings first undergo normalizing or quenching/tempering to relieve internal stress and stabilize structure. Then machining centers and CNC lathes complete planet pin holes, center bores, and end faces in a single setup. Planet pin hole position accuracy within 0.02mm, concentricity within 0.01mm, end face runout within 0.01mm. Pin holes can reach H7 grade precision, surface roughness below Ra1.6μm; nitriding or induction hardening available for improved wear resistance as needed. Precision machined planetary carriers are used in industrial reducers, wind turbine gearboxes, construction machinery travel mechanisms, and planetary reducers in automation equipment. Every carrier undergoes CMM full dimensional inspection before shipping, with critical hole positions 100% inspected. Material reports and flaw detection reports can be provided. Quality Control

 

Full-process control under IATF 16949. Materials with material certificates. Forgings or castings: non-destructive testing (ultrasonic or magnetic particle) for internal shrinkage and cracks. After machining: CMM full dimensional inspection-planet pin hole position within 0.02mm, concentricity within 0.01mm, end face runout within 0.01mm. Critical hole positions 100% inspected; hardness sampled. Third-party inspection per customer specification supported, reports accompany goods.
