Motor Output Shaft

We are Taizhou Liuhuan Machinery Co., Ltd., a manufacturer certified to IATF16949. Our motor output shaft is a key product. This shaft transfers the motor's rotational power to the engine flywheel instantly. We use special alloy steel and a full precision forging process for it. We have also improved the spline tooth shape and fillet design to enhance impact strength and resistance to twisting. This is a part designed to withstand extreme forces.

During engine start, this shaft experiences peak forces of thousands of Newton meters. Our motor output shaft resists bending and fatigue, ensuring every start is strong and reliable. We select alloy steel such as 20CrMo for its excellent low-temperature performance. The spline area undergoes induction hardening, creating a deep, wear-resistant layer. The main body of the shaft is treated to maintain high toughness. We also apply shot peening, which adds surface compression and significantly extends the shaft's service life. Tests show it can withstand millions of start cycles without failure.

The spiral spline at the shaft end requires very high accuracy. Its precision determines whether the drive gear engages and returns smoothly. We follow the DIN 5480 standard, carefully rolling or grinding the spline's lead and pressure angle. Tolerances are maintained to a high-precision grade. We also offer custom options, including alternative materials, lighter designs, or anti-rust coatings, tailored to your starter's power, speed, and available space.
