Product Description
The output shaft of a gear motor is the final link in the entire reduction system-after the motor's high-speed rotation is reduced through gears, it ultimately outputs high-torque, low-speed power to the load through this shaft. This shaft looks simple, but actually must withstand the amplified torque after reduction while ensuring concentricity and runout at the output end. Once something goes wrong, the entire gear motor vibrates, makes noise, or even suffers a broken shaft. We commonly use alloy steels such as 40Cr and 42CrMo. After quenching and tempering, core hardness is HRC 28–32-tough and torque-resistant. Output journals and mating sections are induction-hardened or nitrided to surface hardness above HRC55 for wear resistance. Shaft straightness within 0.01mm, concentricity within 0.01mm, output end face runout within 0.01mm. Keyways are machined on CNC milling machines to IT7 grade precision. Spline sections, flat sections, and threaded sections can be added as needed to match different output connection methods.
