In a hydraulic system, the valve spool is the core component controlling oil flow direction, pressure, and flow-it moves axially or rotationally within the valve sleeve, controlling hydraulic oil on/off and direction by opening and closing valve ports. Under high-pressure conditions, the fit clearance between the spool and valve sleeve is typically only a few microns, and the precision and surface quality of the mating surfaces directly determine the valve's internal leakage and response speed. We make High pressure hydraulic valve cores to achieve micron-level precision for this core hydraulic control component, for fast response, low internal leakage, and long lifespan.
We use 38CrMoAl nitriding steel, GCr15 bearing steel, or 42CrMo alloy steel as the base material, selected per pressure and operating conditions. The spool goes through multiple processes: rough turning, finish turning, grinding, and super-finishing. Key mating diameter tolerance controlled within ±0.003mm, roundness and cylindricity within 0.003mm, surface roughness below Ra0.4μm; critical mating faces can reach Ra0.05μm mirror grade. Spool land perpendicularity within 0.005mm, axial dimensional tolerance ±0.01mm. Surface is nitrided or hard chrome plated to hardness above HV800 for wear resistance. Throttle grooves, damping holes, balance grooves and other functional structures available as needed. Every spool undergoes mating dimension full inspection and valve sleeve lapping testing before shipping. Quality Control
Operating under IATF 16949. Materials with material certificates and heat treatment reports. Key mating diameter: 100% inspected with air gauge or micrometer. Critical mating faces 100% inspected. Valve sleeve lapping clearance testing and internal leakage testing available as needed. Third-party inspection per customer specification accepted, reports accompany goods.
